Many times in our practice we are asked about children's car seats. "Should my child face the front? The back? Are the instructions on the seat valuable?"
We advise parents in our practice to follow the guidelines listed on their car seats as to the direction the child is placed in the car. Children in rear facing car seats bode better in cases of accident and it is much better for their spinal health to face to the back rather than the front.

At our practice, because of the family, pregnancy and child focus we regularly communicate information about such issues with our practice members. We focus on the whole health of the individuals in our practice and regularly engage our practice members in these discussions directing them to more information as needed.
